About Us
ITS Minnesota is comprised of individuals and local, regional and national organizations who are interested in the development of our state’s Intelligent Transportation Systems industry.
Mission
ITS Minnesota fosters grassroots participation and public-private partnerships to inspire, educate and support the use of intelligent transportation technology that improves safety, equity and mobility for all Minnesotans.
Vision
Understanding, partnering and education that grows knowledge of intelligent transportation technology to operate, connect, automate, and electrify a transportation system that improves safety, mobility and eliminates barriers.
Equity
Acknowledging the inequities and barriers transportation has historically created, ITS Minnesota is committed to exploring how intelligent transportation technology supports affordable, equitable, accessible transportation by diversifying membership, partnering with minority-owned businesses, engaging communities, and viewing our work through an equity lens to reflect the needs of all Minnesotans.
2021 ITS MN Goals
The following goals have been set for ITS MN for the 2021 calendar year to follow through on the mission, vision, and equity statements above, as well as the overall strategic plan for ITS MN.

STEM outreach - Coordinate with Innovation Alliance on a CAV stem outreach event (volunteer or co-sponsor)

Small business development - Reach out to three to five small businesses to share information about ITS Minnesota

Marketing and outreach - Expand outreach to AV industry and invite to speak at monthly meeting or become new members

Programs - Invite AV industry and OEMs to 2021 Fall Forum to bring in new industry voices have at least two to three new AV industry members attend event or present

Education - Host technical training for professionals

Scholarship and Career Guidance - Identify a stem youth event where ITS Minnesota can present on ITS/CAV
